The Canberra Innovation Network (CBRIN) drives innovation and entrepreneurship through events, coworking, programs, workshops, and grants. Founded in 2014 and backed by the ACT Government alongside key founders ANU, University of Canberra, UNSW Canberra, Canberra Institute of Technology and the CSIRO, CBRIN has supported over 153 companies, with $280M in capital for ventures like Skykraft and Samsara Eco. Signature initiatives like First Wednesday Connect, Female Founders, and the Innovation Connect Grant empower startups, Scale ups and SMEs. Through CBRIN’s commitment the Canberra innovation ecosystem is strengthened and continues to create ongoing social and economic benefits locally, nationally and internationally.
