Tucked away in Tokyo’s back alleys and basements, the city’s dimly-lit listening venues inspired Studio Eksotika, an intimate audiophile concept just steps from Katamama and Potato Head Beach Club. A six-seat audiophile bar, made from reclaimed timber and recycled foam, is the focal point. Taken from mattress offcuts, the terrazzo-look foam is sustainable and strategic, enhancing the acoustics and allowing the sound system to operate at its best.
